hello I live in Manchester united kingdom. I am called julia, sober almost a year, after haveing a binge drink problem,not a daily drink problem. I go to AA meetings sometimes, but I feel nowadays I have no social life except going to the gym, or walks in the countryside, reading, gardening, television, plus I look after my elderly mother. I cannot cope with pubs on soft drinks, or parties. Im a little shy, but also chatty once I get to know someone. I have registered on the dating section, but no photo as yet. I will post one up there soon. take care all.

Hellooooooooooo gentlemen. I'm glad to see there are sober men out there who are looking to date sober women. Could this mean chivalry is back? I'm 50 now and will be sober 8 years in July, God willing. I live in Washington State and looking to travel on weekends to round ups or gatherings just to widen my circle of AA friends. Does anyone know where Okanogan, Washington is? Well, if you do, you can find me at Bill W's house of AA on Saturday nights. In AA I found quality friendships last a very long time. GL to all, and please don't be a player. I recently learned that being active in AA doesn't guarantee that a man is honorable. I'm not an alcoholic or addict, but AM recovering from CD...13 peaceful years.

I'm not a recovering alcoholic or addict, but AM a recovering CD. I just stopped drinking 20 years ago, but the CD freedom is only 13 years old. I wish us all the best of luck in a healthier way of life and love. And, take time to CAREFULLY read my profile...especially Pat.

Just joined from NW,MN sobriety of 25 plus yrs. Have some neat sponsors, while last summer praying for a partner and a female kitty showed up. My sponsor replied see prayer answered with humor. So today again for partner, with 2 legs forgot to be specific before and enjoys humor in a rural/country setting.
